Are you one of those people who really loves to get under a shower and feel the fresh flow of warm or cold water cascading down on you? If so, it is likely that taking a shower is something of a ritual, and like all rituals you need to be properly prepared for it to go according to plan.

Getting well organized for your shower is where the shower organizer comes in; and it can come in several forms. Some of the common choices you can make are a corner shower caddy, a caddy that hooks over the door, one that hooks over the shower head itself, and a free-standing organizer rack; there are others.

In many cases you will need more than one shower organizer; one to have near the shower head so that while you are showering, you can reach the soap, shampoo sponge and so on.

The other organizer, which might include a bath towel rack or towel shelves, can be by or over the door so that it will not get wet, but will still be handy when you step out of the shower.

A corner shower caddy is a common and popular form of shower organizer, although for some people a corner shower shelf will suffice.

While stainless steel and chrome shower caddies are common, for something a bit different the Formbu Bamboo and Dark Bronze Shower Bath Tension Caddy from InterDesign would be an interesting choice at under $70.
This is made from natural bamboo with dark bronze accents and has four shower baskets. For a simple white shower caddy that just slings over the shower head, take a look at the Umbra Bask Shower Caddie at under $25. This is made with steel chain and hooks, with polypropylene baskets. You could hang it on the curtain rod as an alternative; if you have one that is.

Also from Interdesign is the Stainless Steel Shower Door Organizer.

This is made from durable and rust resistant stainless steel, and is an over door shower organizer that should meet many of your shower storage needs.

It has bottom hooks for hanging face towels, cloths or sponges, and suction cups as a supplement to provide additional stability if needed.

Another shower storage option is to have a shower curtain with pockets that can be used for storage of shower accessories. One such example is the Maytex Mesh Pockets Vinyl Shower Curtain made from clear vinyl.
